Between Jacob and I we have four dads, a few more we consider father-figures and a little boy who calls us Mommy and Da Da. Something I admire about my husband is his inclusiveness. From the start of our relationship it hasn’t been his family or mine, it’s been ours. A small trait that should be simple and merely thoughtless however, it’s something some of us struggle with. Thankfully he has modeled to me otherwise and I’m grateful.

Here’s to all the father’s in our lives. Thank you for allowing us to be the people God has called us to be and loving us through it all.
